These photos cannot be retaken
Wedding photographs and videos are irreplaceable. If the card, drive or computer holding them fails, the most important step is to stop using it and avoid experiments.
Find every copy
Check other cards from the same event, a second camera slot, the laptop used for copying, and any cloud or mobile copies. Often a partial set exists somewhere.
Do not run many free tools
Running different recovery programs one after another, especially ones that save recovered files back onto the same card, can overwrite the very photos you want to save.
Professional recovery
Bring or send the original card or drive. Tell us the camera model and file type (RAW or JPEG). We diagnose the media and explain what can be recovered.
Important: Switch the drive off if it makes unusual sounds. Stop using the drive immediately.
