A factory reset on modern phones erases the encryption keys, which normally makes data permanently unrecoverable. Without the screen lock, encrypted data cannot be accessed.
Questions about this service
My phone is completely dead. Can photos be recovered?
If the fault can be repaired enough to start the phone, data can often be extracted. Diagnosis will tell us.
I factory reset my phone. Can you recover data?
On most modern phones, no. The reset destroys the encryption keys. Check Google Photos, Google Drive or iCloud backups.
